6. Use of cookies
We use cookies (small computer files containing textual information, sent from the network server to your browser) for the purpose of improving your experience of our online offerings. For example, if you allow us to use cookies, you will only see certain messages once. Cookies have an expiration date; if you manually delete cookies before they expire, a new cookie will be sent to you on your next visit to the site if you have not turned off the cookie installation feature.
Due to its technical specifications, a cookie can only be read by the server that sent it. We guarantee that no personal data is stored in our cookies.
If you disable cookies, some of our offers may no longer be available. We therefore recommend that you permanently enable the use of cookies for our website. Most browsers are set to automatically enable cookies. However, you can prevent cookies from being stored and set your browser so that a message appears whenever a cookie is sent.
7. Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies,” which are text files that are stored on your computer to enable our website to analyze your use of the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the site (including your IP address) is transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the United States. Google will use this information to analyze your use of the site, compile reports on website activity for use by the website operator, and provide other services relating to website and Internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties are engaged to process this information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google under any circumstances. You can prevent the installation of cookies by an appropriate setting in your browser, but in that case you may not be able to use certain functions of the site. By using this site, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes described above.
Google’s tracking codes for this site use the “anonymizeIp()” function; this means that IP addresses are only subjected to further processing in abbreviated form so that they cannot be linked to a specific person. At any time you can object to the collection and storage of data with effect from future processing. Clicking the “Deactivate” button totally inhibits the tracking activity. To make the deactivation permanent, the browser used must accept cookies. Alternatively, you can exclude data collection by using a browser add-on provided by Google, through which you can prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being transmitted to and used by Google Inc. The plugin can be downloaded from the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=it
8. Facebook social plugin
This site uses social plugins (“plugins”) from the social network facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, United States (“Facebook”). You may recognize plugins by one of Facebook’s logos (“f” white on blue box or a “thumbs up” sign) or by the name “Facebook Social Plugin.” The list and appearance of Facebook Social Plugins can be viewed here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins.
When you open a web page on the site that contains a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook’s servers. Facebook transmits the content of the plugin directly to your browser, which incorporates it into the web page. We cannot determine what kind of data Facebook collects through this plugin, so we inform you to the best of our knowledge: when the plugin is installed, Facebook is informed every time a user opens the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged in to Facebook, your visit to the site can be associated with your Facebook account. When you interact with plugins, for example by pressing the “Like” button or leaving a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted from your browser directly to Facebook and stored. If you are not a Facebook member, it is still possible for Facebook to detect and store your IP address. The purpose and scope of data collection, further processing and use of data by Facebook, as well as the corresponding rights and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Facebook’s data protection regulation: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php. If you are a Facebook member and do not want Facebook to collect data about you via our web page and link it to your registration data stored on Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting the site. Alternatively, you can also block Facebook’s social plugins by using an add-on for your browser, e.g. “Facebook Blocker”.
9. Facebook Conversion Pixel
This website uses “Facebook Pixel” by Facebook Inc. of 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The pixel allows tracking users’ activity after they view or click on a Facebook advertisement. This tracking allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes and can help optimize subsequent advertising efforts.
The data collected is presented to us in an anonymous form and in no way allows the identity of users to be traced. The data is stored and processed by Facebook, which may associate it with the relevant user profile and use it for its own advertising purposes in accordance with its own Data Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). The user may allow Facebook and its partners to serve advertisements within and outside of Facebook. For this purpose, you may also store a cookie on your computer.
By accessing our website and Facebook page, you consent to the use of cookies. To disable the use of cookies in general on your computer, you can change your browser settings so that the storage of cookies on your computer is disabled in the future and the stored cookies are deleted. By deleting all cookies, however, it is possible that certain functions of our website will no longer be available. You can also disable the use of cookies by third parties such as Facebook from the following Digital Advertising Alliance site: http://www.aboutads.info/choices/
10. Use of the Twitter tweet button
This website uses the “Tweet” button of the social network Twitter operated by Twitter Inc., 750 Folsom Street, Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States (“Twitter”). The button features a blue bird accompanied by the word “Tweet” on a blue background. When a user calls up a web page on our site that contains such a button, his or her browser establishes a direct connection to Twitter’s servers. Twitter transmits the content of the “Tweet” button directly to the browser, which incorporates it into the tweet message. Therefore, the provider cannot influence in any way what kind of data Twitter collects via the button but assumes that IP address detection is included. The purpose and scope of data collection, further processing and use of the data by Twitter, and related rights and setting options to protect users’ privacy can be found in Twitter’s data protection policy: http://twitter.com/privacy. If the visitor to the page is a Twitter subscriber and does not want Twitter to collect data about him through this webpage and link it to his registration data stored by Twitter, he should log out of Twitter before visiting the site.

This site uses plugins from the social network LinkedIn, operated by LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“LinkedIn”). LinkedIn plugins are recognizable by its logo or the Recommend button (“Recommend”). Please be aware that when you access our site, your browser connects to LinkedIn’s server. LinkedIn is therefore aware of the visit to this website made with your IP address. By clicking on the “Recommend” button while your LinkedIn account is open, you can link content from our web page to your profile page in LinkedIn. In this case you allow LinkedIn to associate your visit to our site with your person i.e. your user account. We specify that we do not receive any information regarding the content of the transmitted data and its use by LinkedIn.
You can find more information about data collection, your legal rights and setting options at LinkedIn’s page: http://www.linkedin.com/

We clarify that as providers of the pages we are not aware of the content of the transmitted data as well as their use by Instagram. More information on this can be found in Instagram’s data protection statement: http://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy
