San Salvatore and hiking to Morcote (full day)
Funicular ride to the Top of Lugano to admire the view, then hike to Carona, Alpe Vicania and Morcote.
For the most part, this excursion runs along dirt roads immersed in highly diversified wooded areas. It’s a real garden with a breathtaking view at just a stone’s throw from the city! You start by reaching the top of majestic San Salvatore by cable car (from March to October), with its 360° view; you then proceeds towards Carona, with its picturesque hamlet and the San Grato Park with its many attractions and from here you head in the direction of Alpe Vicania to finally reach the characteristic village of Morcote. Boat ride back to Lugano (from April to October).
