The Longest Suspension Bridge in Switzerland

In May 2015, on the slopes of the mountains just a few minutes from Bellinzona, the longest Tibetan-style suspension bridge in Switzerland was inaugurated. At 270 meters long, this marvel of engineering connects two territories on either side of a deep and steep gorge, allowing for a beautiful walk through vineyards, chestnut woods and characteristic mountain pastures, with spectacular views. Along the way, we visit one of the most important Romanesque churches in Italian Switzerland. This tour is suitable for active people who are used to walking in the mountains, including children. Suitable equipment required. Possibility of ascending by cable car. The tour can be adapted to specific requests.
