Over the centuries, Carona, located on the hills of Lake Lugano, has attracted many personalities from the worlds of Art, Literature, Music and Culture in general. The tour winds through this small village, an architectural jewel of alleys, small squares, splendid churches, and beautiful patrician houses of the artists of Carona, including the Pantrovà house, belonging to Lisa Tetzner and Kurt Kläber. Continuing through the woods, we reach the enchanting Sanctuary of the Madonna d’Ongero, where we will admire the beautiful frescoes. Comfortable shoes are a must.
