Cardada, Cimetta and descent on foot

From Locarno, with the cable car designed by the famous Ticino architect Mario Botta, we reach Cardada, a splendid place facing the sun from morning to evening. A few houses and a rich flora and fauna. From here the spectacular view ranges from the Valais, with the highest peaks of the Alps, to the whole of Locarno and from Lake Maggiore to the Ligurian Apennines. Your guide will introduce you to all this beauty with information that you will not find elsewhere. We continue even higher, up to Cimetta, where the breathtaking panorama extends 360 degrees, even including the mountains in the Bernese Oberland. We return to Cardada on foot, on a beautiful path between summer pastures and birch forests and then descend by cable car to Locarno. Depending on your time availability, there is the possibility of stopping for lunch in a typical mountain restaurant. The tour lasts approximately 3-4 hours.
