Mendrisio and its Borgo

From the far north of its historic center, this guided tour, and pleasant walk, towards the south allows us to rediscover the history of Mendrisio and its village: Roman evidence such as the remains of mosaic floors of villas that have unfortunately disappeared, monasteries and churches that were of great importance during the Middle Ages, sumptuous stately homes built in a period ranging from the 14th to the 20th century.
